Edna's journey is marked by resilience and creativity. Inspired by her artistic parents and despite personal tragedies, Edna found solace in drawing. She learned to sew in school, and an unexpected validation of her work boosted her confidence. Encouraged by her teachers, she pursued fashion design and submitted her work to various places, including Hallmark Cards. Although she missed an opportunity with Hallmark, she remained determined. A key advice from Butterick Patterns, "Learn how to sew," became foundational in her quest.  Despite facing accidents and a medical emergency, Edna's resilience saw her through. She created an online store with a "resilience" tagline, showcasing her artwork and postcards that capture cherished memories and lifestyle elements from her home. Her husband's unwavering support played a crucial role in her success, emphasizing the importance of love and dedication in overcoming life's obstacles. Edna's story is about perseverance, creativity, and pursuing dreams despite adversity.
